Job Description
Tier 2 Tech provides "home-town, personalized" technical support services to customers in person, on the phone, through email and via the Service Ticket System. The Tier 2 Tech's primary responsibility is to care for the customer and help solve first and second level technical problems. The Tier 2 Tech performs moderate levels of computer, network, database management and internet related tasks in an unsupervised environment.

Qualifications, Training & Skills

  • B.S. in technology related field or Equivalent Experience
  • 3 - 7 years of computer service experience
  • 3 - 7 years of Internet related experience
  • Moderate database administration skills
  • Advanced proficiency in PC, Mac, Windows, and Linux, html, java script, xml, PHP
  • Advanced proficiency in data centers and networking
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
